* Your experience of traveling in a train ?
-i travelled in shatabdi from chennai to bangalore, the experience was super class. they keep feeding you and you wonder how they will earn with such cheap tickets considering all the issues made by airlines on providing free food. they would even announce at every station and the seating was very comfortable. basically the new trains are doing a superb job in providing service!

* Any stories or memories you have of travelling in a train ?
- i recently traveled from guwahti to tinsukia and bak. since it was an overnight journey the whole idea was to sleep and relax. onwards journey on intercity was troubled due to lot of cockroaches crawling around you but return on rajdhani was good. basically the trains like rajdhani, shatabdi are good quality trains but railways need to do a lot when it comes to quality in the other trains.

* What is it that you like best about the indian railways ?
-it connects the entire country and is accessible to each and every man. its the backbone of indian transport and a strong catalyst in indias progress. imagine mumbai without railway system. thats how india would be without indian railways.

* What is it that you hate about the indian railways ?
- cleanliness! cleanliness! cleanliness!

* What animal do you associate it with?
- camel

* What shape/ form do you associate with ?
- serpentine

* What colour do you associate it with ?
-blue

* Its been good & bad both.Ofcourse trains like the rajdhani are a classic example of comfort on the wheels. but when it comes to local trains, you know how crazy it can get

* Been communting in the local trains for over 6 years now. None the less experiences of travelling in the train have been chaotic. If you know what i mean. Trains in Mumbai are a bliss when it comes to reaching from Andheri to Churchgate in only 30 minutes however this comes at the cost of almost hanging your self to death to reach your destination

*Mumbai local is the lifeline of Mumbai. This definitely holds true for millions travel every day. I like the fact that this network is very well managed. Only if one looks at the possitive aspects.

*Badly maintained although well managed in terms of the timely arrival of scheduled trains. Torn seats, cockroaches

*Catterpillar. this one however runs and ddoesnt crawl.

To find more trains and stations visithttp://www.indiantrains.org/

The better way to search Indian trains looks great and it open fast, no pop-up, user friendly. Every information in a single page. This concept is good and some of the features like calendar, train running day has not come in a single website in this reviews. the most important features i have seen in this site that if the user does not know the station code then also he can see all the trains and it is only website which have a drop menu box for the important station from where you can choose the station name and also it has a date calendar from you can choose the date and it show the running day of the train so that you can know which day of the week this train is running. the other most important feature I have seen in this website that it show the train which does not have the reservation coach for the benefit of the user and they are showing the passenger train also which is also not available in any website. This site will enable the users to search train route and compare fares of most of the trains in India.
